ALL-CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE

Sunday November 23rd, 2003 at 10:00AM

Black Rock has been prayerfully seeking the Lord's direction and plan for the expansion of His ministry locally and globally over the last 3 months. Come share what the Lord is doing with Black Rock as we come together as a church to worship Him, praise Him and glorify His plan for our church.

Share a time of fellowship and giving with the entire congregation in a single service as we collect and announce the congregation's cash gifts and pledge commitments to the Ministry Expansion Project. This will be an exciting time to celebrate what the Lord has planned for Black Rock.

Don't miss this opportunity to come together as one church to seek the Lord and make Him known.

Black Rock Prayer Vigil

Friday, November 21st - from 8:00 AM to Midnight
Black Rock Church will be hosting a Prayer Vigil THIS FRIDAY from 8AM to Midnight as we prepare to come together to celebrate the Lord's expansion plans at the All-Church Worship Service on November 23rd. As a congregation, we will use this incredible opportunity to bring before the Lord our current and future ministry needs, the Capital Campaign and our Ministry Expansion Project.

Please use the sign up sheet at the MEP booth to schedule time to pray as a family, with a friend or on your own. Please make this time a priority, and join us for a significant event in the life of our church.

Capital Campaign Desserts

The Capital Campaign Desserts continue to be God inspired events. The Lord has used these desserts to enable the MET to reach out and talk to many about the excitement going on around Black Rock and the expansion. Don't miss the opportunity to hear about the project specifics and provide any feedback about the ministry expansion. If you cannot attend a dessert on your scheduled date or if you have not yet received an invitation for a dessert please come to the MET Booth in the Welcome Center to sign up for an available date.

Concerts of Prayer **REVISED DATE**

Black Rock Church will be hosting two church wide concerts of prayer as we continue to speak to the Lord about His plans for Black Rock Church. Please mark you calendars for:

** REVISED DATE** WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th at 7PM
and Wednesday November 19th at 7PM.

Contact Pastor Larry or visit the MEP booth for additional information.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CONGREGATION TO MEET

The Capital Campaign Committee and the MET would like to continue to encourage everyone to participate in the desserts this fall. Each of the 25 desserts is an opportunity for the congregation to meet with Pastor Steve, hear more about Black Rock's vision and communicate any ideas or suggestions about the Ministry Expansion Project. We don't want to miss hearing from anyone who desires to provide input to the project. Everyone on the church mailing list will receive an invite to attend a dessert. If you would like to sign up now, please stop by the MEP booth.

IMMEDIATE PRAYER REQUESTS

...that the architects have been able to compile everyone's feedback from the informational meetings and the Kick-Off Dinners and design the perfect church for the Black Rock ministries.

...that the Lord touches each person's heart about their participation in God's plans for Black Rock Church

...that there be unity in the church and support for our church leaders.

...that the dinners filled people's hearts with excitement and enthusiasm about the Ministry Expansion Project.

...that the Capital Campaign continues the great momentum we started at the Kick-Off Dinners through to the November 23rd All-Church gathering.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU...

The Ministry Expansion Team and The Capital Campaign Committee would like to thank the entire Black Rock Church congregation for your incredible support for the Ministry Expansion Project and for the tremendous turn out at the Kick-Off Dinners this past Friday and Saturday. We had nearly 950 people attend the dinners showing our church's deep desire to seek God's will for our church. It will take an effort from the entire congregation to meet our goals and it is clear that God is already at work as we see the outpouring of participation and support of the project so far.

These next three months will be very exciting as we begin to see the next phase of the project take shape. There will be a number of opportunities to learn about the project moving forward so stay tuned in the coming weeks for information in the Sunday bulletin, in your mailbox and at www.evengreaterthings.com

Even Greater Things Update

We are in the midst of an exciting time at Black Rock. As we launch our Capital Campaign over the next three months, the Capital Campaign Committee would like to encourage each person in the congregation to continue to pray for the Ministry Expansion Project. We have additional Prayer Devotionals and Prayer Rocks at the MEP booth in the Welcome Center to help as everyday reminders.

There will be Ministry Expansion Team member at the MEP booth in the Welcome Center each Sunday to answer any questions you may have about the Ministry Expansion Project or the Capital Campaign. Please stop by as we also have a 3-D model and drawings of the proposed building available to view as well.

Finally, the Even Greater Things website is live! Continue to check the site for new information and content at www.evengreaterthings.com as we will be updating it regularly!
