What Can I Do?
Pray!
"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16) The most important element in this project is prayer. In our previous expansions, we have seen God work
in miraculous ways. Once again, we need to rely on God and submit to His will and leading, knowing He can do what we, ourselves, cannot. Black Rock Congregational Church is blessed with an incredible ministry. Pray and thank God for how He has used this ministry to touch so many lives, including your own. Pray for church unity and for the strength, health, and wisdom of all those working directly on this project.
Give!
We hope to have 100 percent financial participation in our Capital Campaign. We recognize that we all cannot, and should not, contribute
the same amount. It is our hope, however, that everyone will give sacrificially, above and beyond their normal giving to Black Rock's local and global
ministry budgets. We ask each and every household to individually seek God's will and prayerfully consider their commitment to this project.
Participate!
Keep yourself informed by attending church regularly, reading the bulletin,
and visiting the Ministry Expansion Project (MEP) booth. Communicate with the Ministry Expansion Team (MET) in person or by email, asking questions and offering suggestions. Visit our website, www.EvenGreaterThings.com, and participate in activities and prayer vigils for the project. Support the
children and youth of the congregation in their ministry expansion efforts, and be excited! This is a historic time for Black Rock Congregational Church, as together we embark on this incredible adventure of faith!
