Growth Trends
Ninety percent of the churches in Southern Connecticut have a Sunday attendance of less than 100 people and are closing their doors with alarming frequency. On the other hand, our challenges here at Black Rock are due to a healthy, steady, and substantial growth. Our thriving ministry has four well-attended worship services every Sunday, and our parking lot is overcrowded. Each year many people of all ages place their faith in Christ, and we have outgrown our ministry space for children, youth, and adults.
This growth trend has finally brought us to the point of needing
to make some crucial changes. We are so thankful for this evidence of God's blessing and the amazing opportunity it presents to us.
